Error Tips
  1. If these settings do not work, take a look at any error message to see if it talks about Password issues and make sure your server name, user name (your complete email address), and password are typed in correctly.
  2. When Mac Mail connects to your server, it by default attempts to connect using a SSL certificate connection. On shared servers, (which your are) the SSL certificate will look similar to xxx.qclickhostingaustralia.com.au.com
  3. Mac mail is throwing an error because it is not seeing a SSL certificate for "mail.yourdomain.com", and instead it is seeing the xxx.qclickhostingaustralia.com.au.com certificate.
  4. This is common, and it is safe to ignore. Click "Connect" or "Details and Trust" the certificate and continue. To verify it is an xxx.qclickhostingaustralia.com.au.com certificate, click "Show Certificate", and you should see it listed.
