To many of our clients email accounts are being compromised!


In an effort to ensure the security of our customer email accounts, Kanga Hosting Australia and qClick Hosting has adopted a new password policy.  The purpose of this policy is to provide additional security to the shared email system,  as well as help to ensure the free use and continued enjoyment of our email service for our customers.

It is the policy of Kanga Hosting Australia - Qclick Hosting Services to regulate the length and difficulty of email account passwords to improve security.  Accounts with unsatisfactory passwords will be disabled until a “strong” password has been used. All passwords must contain a minimum of 8 characters up to maximum of 16 characters.  In addition, at least 2 of the following specifications must be met:

The use of a number - (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9)

The use of a symbol - (acceptable symbols:  ‘!’  ‘$’  ‘+’  ‘@’  ‘_’ ‘(’)

The use of a capital letter - (A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H)

All password changes can be completed through the password change tool in your cPanel at - Customer support is available at 1300 783 082 if there are any questions.

Inside your cPanel is a convenient email password generator tool. With a simple cut and paste of your password to your local email client, this is the easier method for users.
