Server Status
Check status and uptime record of our servers
If the server is shown as online, but you are experiencing difficulties connecting, it may be because you have inadvertently triggered the server firewall to block yourself. This can happen eg by trying to access cpanel or email by using the wrong username and password several times in a row. This feature is a proven security bonus, as there have been many times where hackers have tried to gain access to accounts by trying various username and password combinations.
Blocks like this can be cleared manually by contacting support and letting us know what domain name it is your are trying to connect to, and what the IP address of your current internet connection is. Your IP address can easily be found by using the tool on this website: http://www.whatismyip.com/. An IP address is a series of 4 dotted groups of numbers. eg 10.30.86.231 and is unique to each computer connected to the internet.
If you cannot connect to websites in general, you probably won't be seeing this page - but it may be that you have a problem with your internet connection or isp, rather than there being a server problem.
SMX Kanga signifies our remote (SPARE MAIL EXCHANGE) mail redundancy server is at the ready for power outages, floods and earthquakes.
